Childless Rain

There is nothing like the sound of a tear-filled rain
Every single drop causes more and more pain
My heart is weighed heavy on my soul
No one will ever know how that conversation took its toll

The sun never shined the way it did that day
One more trip to the doctor
To hear what she had to say
Oh my God
She didn't
She said it
Just like that
What was I to do
Or cry with
Now that I'm alone
I hear nothing
Dead silence
Except for the rain

There is nothing like the sound of a tear-filled rain
Every single drop causes more and more pain
My heart is weighed heavy on my soul
No one will ever know how that conversation took its toll

I tried to open my eyes
But only see a dark image of me
The rain was running down the window
With every drop
My heart sank
I knew it would be over
Dreams of a family
Stay strong they say
Oh really
Says the mother of three
Her trails and tribulations
No way that was me
Our stories are not the same
Don't try to make it be
I only hear rain drops
There all I see

There is nothing like the sound of a tear-filled rain
Every single drop causes more and more pain
My heart is weighed heavy on my soul
No one will ever know how that conversation took its toll

No children
Don't think about it
Don't dream about it
The path has been set
The points have been given
The doctor said then
What to expect tomorrow
I don't know how
Yet strength will follow

No one will ever know that conversation took its toll
My heart is hard and weighed heavy on my soul
Every single drop causes more and more pain
There's nothing like a tear-filled rain

My heart?????????

This man is sitting in the bottom of my heart
His legs and arms crossed
He's not moving or planning to go anywhere
I tried to push him
He just looked at me and laughed
I tried to scream at him
He just put in earplugs and started humming
I tried to shake him
He shook me harder
I tried to question him
He looked at me confused
Finally
I kissed him to call it even
He reciprocated with ease
He stood up and gave me a hug
It was the best hug my heart ever received

Social Media and Our Own Values

The television, computer, cell phone and advertising media has changed the belief system for some Americans.  There are schools across the world teaching computer technology (with social media examples) over religion, cultural differences and unity among all.  Additionally, people are more exposed to the harshness of reality and mimicking what they see.  How do people see more violence, hatred, body shaming, drug abuse/overdoses, money glorification and sexual immorality?  Mostly through the media!      The stories about Serena Williams and Les Moonves (CBS former CEO and Executive) have taken  over the social media scene this past weekend.  They have crossed all different topics such as race relations, sports, history, women's rights, violence, sexuality, embarrassment, LOVE, RESPECT, honesty, fear, acknowledgment, trust, lies, misconduct, power abuse, working class, sexual aggression, family, mother/daug...

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?                                                 The world today is different compared to just a year ago.   Everyone seems to be touchy and sensitive about everything.   Some people are marching just to be marching with their friends, not knowing the true cause. If a celebrity is doing it, he/she is more likely, going to have a following.   The fame, notoriety and wealth status has led to the election of our most recent president.   Realistically, hos moral character was not a factor relating to his election!   The more fame he gained from his political fight came from the misconception about his many business ventures.   Highlighting the word misconception because majority of pe...

Our Youth's Education is at Risk!

There was a woman (race not important for this) on television the other day.  She was being interviewed by a female reporter.  Forgive me, I can't recall the station nor the show because the content grabbed my attention instantly!  The middle-aged woman was crying to the reporter.  The woman told the reporter she did not want to tell her students to go to college.  Yes, the middle aged woman was a teacher!  She continued by saying she couldn't bare to see the faces of her students when they found out she lied about their futures.  The teacher stated if she told them going to college would lead to a successful career and a great life, she would be lying.  When in reality, she further spoke, a person graduates from college with tremendous debt, working a underpaying job, and struggling to balance family time vs. work to pay bills time.         I had to sit back and...
