Deteriorating City The silent manipulation unfolding among our creation Violence rising, adultery exposed, children shot as they sleep, teens die waiting for a ride to be educated, elderly beaten while just trying to enjoy independence. We watch as surrounding buildings crumble, monuments are distorted with graffiti; gangbangers rob the poor and needy. Shameful actions covered by joyful expressions of so-called power. Mimicking what has been seen, displayed, shown, mocked by small snippets of television faction or media competition for action. Information to some, ignored by none. Lives taken for granted by no one age group specifically. ...
