 Our youth are our future no matter the choices they make.  Our job, as leaders, teachers, parents, coaches, etc., is to challenge them to make the best choices they can.  We should be there for them despite their thoughts, decisions and mistakes. Every person involved in a child's life has some effect. A person doesn't have to even try to make an impression for it to occur.  Our youth have alleged examples of what life is, but that is not it at all.  Once they figure that out, there is a tremendous let down or breakdown emotionally.    We see it every day in the on our social media, in the news, in the streets, in our homes or within ourselves.          WOW! Where do I start?  The health crisis that has pledged our world, the racism that occurs at every corner, the brutality on black on black crime, the injustice in the justice system, the leader who can't lead appropriately, the disable drug in the ground by the ones who are to care for them.  I'll ask you again, where do I begin?  You can't blame it on one class, one race, one gender, one country, one place.  Just think about  how much a child would understand any disgrace.          Our children are stepping over trash, previous walking grounds of prostitutes and blood spattered paths.  Just to get a snack from the local store surrounded by future family members wearing a specific color.  Or growing up with the life of privilege and still wanting more.  The sudden rush of the smooth white powder fills your brain until it consumes your soul.  Then, nothing matters but what...

          Wondering why we have homelessness, drug addictions, sexual abuse, incarcerations, hunger and violence in our world today?  Look around!  It's on the news, social media outlets, on every corner, played on the radio, in our schools, on our televisions and everywhere we turn.  The youth today have role models from the strip clubs, gangs, the music industries and prisons.  Very few seek positive role models from educators, doctors, lawyers, researchers, etc..  Why is this?  The negative is being glorified more than any other entity.  People are fighting EVERYWHERE: from the government to the corner store.  The hatred and disrespect amongst cultures, races, genders, government officials and religions has become outrageous.  We are fighting each other instead of helping one another.  It's like the wild, wild west in our world.  The manipulation, jealousy, lies and disregard for human decency has taken...

          Deteriorating City                         The silent manipulation unfolding among our creation Violence rising, adultery exposed, children shot as they sleep, teens die waiting for a ride to be educated, elderly beaten while just trying to enjoy independence. We watch as surrounding buildings crumble, monuments are distorted with graffiti; gangbangers rob the poor and needy. Shameful actions covered by joyful expressions of so-called power. Mimicking what has been seen, displayed, shown, mocked by small snippets of television faction or media competition for action.         When you see the words: Teens, Drugs and Crime in the same context, what crosses your mind?  Anything alarming, unusual or surprising?  Probably not, but what if I added the word: Manipulation?  Now, what crosses your mind?          Well, consider the average teenager who indulges in the drugs of the new generation.  These would include, but are not limited to Molly, Ecstasy, Heroin, Wax, Loud, Meth and the most common, Syrup (codeine or liquid oxy with soda).  A cocktail of the above listed drugs can alter a teenager's perception instantly and drastically.  Would this mind alteration lead a teen to commit a crime?  Of course it could!  The key word is: Could!  I'll just focus on: yes, a teenager may commit a crime after using a cocktail of the above drugs.  Moving on to the actual crime, could it be violent, victimless, non-violent, just one of the abov...
