Help Does

Our youth are our future no matter the choices they make.  Our job, as leaders, teachers, parents, coaches, etc., is to challenge them to make the best choices they can.  We should be there for them despite their thoughts, decisions and mistakes. Every person involved in a child's life has some effect. A person doesn't have to even try to make an impression for it to occur.  Our youth have alleged examples of what life is, but that is not it at all.  Once they figure that out, there is a tremendous let down or breakdown emotionally.

We see it every day in the on our social media, in the news, in the streets, in our homes or within ourselves. The idea of a misconception of reality is an actual occurrence presently. Our world has experienced dramatic changes within the last 2 to three years. It's hurting the adults, so can you imagine a youth. They are just trying to figure out who they are, then EVERYTHING changes. Yet, no one can help he or she deal with the changes, because they have to.  Thus shootings and suicides and overdoses occur.

The entire world has been changed and will continue to change.  Support, mental health, faith and genuine care and concern, is what the world needs as a start to healing.  Helping others, especially our youth can change our future, literally.

Social Media and Our Own Values

The television, computer, cell phone and advertising media has changed the belief system for some Americans.  There are schools across the world teaching computer technology (with social media examples) over religion, cultural differences and unity among all.  Additionally, people are more exposed to the harshness of reality and mimicking what they see.  How do people see more violence, hatred, body shaming, drug abuse/overdoses, money glorification and sexual immorality?  Mostly through the media!      The stories about Serena Williams and Les Moonves (CBS former CEO and Executive) have taken  over the social media scene this past weekend.  They have crossed all different topics such as race relations, sports, history, women's rights, violence, sexuality, embarrassment, LOVE, RESPECT, honesty, fear, acknowledgment, trust, lies, misconduct, power abuse, working class, sexual aggression, family, mother/daug...

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?                                                 The world today is different compared to just a year ago.   Everyone seems to be touchy and sensitive about everything.   Some people are marching just to be marching with their friends, not knowing the true cause. If a celebrity is doing it, he/she is more likely, going to have a following.   The fame, notoriety and wealth status has led to the election of our most recent president.   Realistically, hos moral character was not a factor relating to his election!   The more fame he gained from his political fight came from the misconception about his many business ventures.   Highlighting the word misconception because majority of pe...

Childless Rain

There is nothing like the sound of a tear-filled rain Every single drop causes more and more pain My heart is weighed heavy on my soul No one will ever know how that conversation took its toll The sun never shined the way it did that day One more trip to the doctor To hear what she had to say Oh my God She didn't She said it Just like that What was I to do Or cry with Now that I'm alone I hear nothing Dead silence Except for the rain There is nothing like the sound of a tear-filled rain Every single drop causes more and more pain My heart is weighed heavy on my soul No one will ever know how that conversation took its toll I tried to open my eyes But only see a dark image of me The rain was running down the window With every drop My heart sank I knew it would be over Dreams of a family Stay strong they say Oh really Says the mother of three Her trails and tribulations No way that was me Our stories are not the same Don't try to make ...
