What Body Do You Want?

The craze going on for women to have the biggest breast and the biggest butt is teaching our children not to be happy with who they are.  Granted, many celebrity women will have their own personal reasons for getting breast and butt augmentations, but is it all worth it?  They achieve stardom only to have their health deteriorate and have fatal consequences.  Not all woman who receive augmentations have problems, but majority do.  I do not have to list the woman with them, because we all see them on a daily basis.  They are on television, on social media, music artists and simply walking around everywhere we go.  The instant gratification they get comes from what others think of them, not what's inside.  The men they attract have one thing in mind......being in a committed relationship and starting a family is rarely, if at all, it.

The additional health risk comes from when a woman goes to another country or a doctor practicing the augmentation illegally just to avoid the high cost of the procedure.  Silicone, once placed in your body, is considered a foreign object that your body can either reject or accept.  Sharing the horror stories of these augmentations or injections have been rarely shared to the public. Some women have been near death, had the silicone leak, had to lay on their stomachs for months, had to have many more procedures to correct the first one and many other problems.  There is a generation of girls wanting to look like their musical or social media idols, not considering the risks.  Someone needs to ask these women how they would feel if their daughters received the same type of procedures they did.

On the other hand, some men I have spoken to indicated they would rather have a woman without all of the extra augmentations.  They want a natural woman at home to commit to and have their children.  The "fake" women (as most of the men called them) were only good to look at for a moment.  Hmmmm….this should make people think, especially women who are only getting these augmentations to attract men.  What do they want to attract the men for?  How do they want men to really look at them?  Our children are watching, so let's give them a true reality of what being "real" looks like.

Social Media and Our Own Values

The television, computer, cell phone and advertising media has changed the belief system for some Americans.  There are schools across the world teaching computer technology (with social media examples) over religion, cultural differences and unity among all.  Additionally, people are more exposed to the harshness of reality and mimicking what they see.  How do people see more violence, hatred, body shaming, drug abuse/overdoses, money glorification and sexual immorality?  Mostly through the media!      The stories about Serena Williams and Les Moonves (CBS former CEO and Executive) have taken  over the social media scene this past weekend.  They have crossed all different topics such as race relations, sports, history, women's rights, violence, sexuality, embarrassment, LOVE, RESPECT, honesty, fear, acknowledgment, trust, lies, misconduct, power abuse, working class, sexual aggression, family, mother/daug...

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?                                                 The world today is different compared to just a year ago.   Everyone seems to be touchy and sensitive about everything.   Some people are marching just to be marching with their friends, not knowing the true cause. If a celebrity is doing it, he/she is more likely, going to have a following.   The fame, notoriety and wealth status has led to the election of our most recent president.   Realistically, hos moral character was not a factor relating to his election!   The more fame he gained from his political fight came from the misconception about his many business ventures.   Highlighting the word misconception because majority of pe...

Our Youth's Education is at Risk!

There was a woman (race not important for this) on television the other day.  She was being interviewed by a female reporter.  Forgive me, I can't recall the station nor the show because the content grabbed my attention instantly!  The middle-aged woman was crying to the reporter.  The woman told the reporter she did not want to tell her students to go to college.  Yes, the middle aged woman was a teacher!  She continued by saying she couldn't bare to see the faces of her students when they found out she lied about their futures.  The teacher stated if she told them going to college would lead to a successful career and a great life, she would be lying.  When in reality, she further spoke, a person graduates from college with tremendous debt, working a underpaying job, and struggling to balance family time vs. work to pay bills time.         I had to sit back and...
