Coronavirus Impact

First, Be Safe.  Protect yourself and your family from this coronavirus that has us all acting out of character.  Out of character in several ways.  I have seen the elderly fighting over toilet paper, toilet paper shelves empty, a complete disrespect for the people trying to stay safe and a whole lot more.  This country is running around lost.  We have a leader that confuses or lies to us and he doesn't even know he's doing it.  We need protection, help and more of it very fast.  Please do not overreact at these times.  Stay focused, maintain your sanity and do the things you know are right to do.  For example:

                                   1.  Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
                                   2.  Wash your hands frequently, especially after using the bathroom and                                                     handling something dirty.
                                   3. Do not cover your mouth with your hands when sneezing.  Use a tissue                                                  and discard it immediately.
                                   4. Stand 6 to 8 feet away from the next person (current practices).

Second, take this time to get to know the ones you live with.  You may be surprised.  How much social media can a person take constantly for a two week period?  You have to interact with your family.   Each person can learn something about themselves and their family members.  Some children have been falling off in school, focusing too much on social media, parents losing parental control and romantic relationships suffering.  All of these things mentioned in "Deteriorating City" (previously written on this blog page).  Now, these things can be resolved, discussed or settled somehow.  It's amazing how the Lord works...

The poem "Time" (also a previously written on this blog page) would go good with this.  Timing is everything.  Nothing can happen that is not meant to happen.  As a country we all know this.  We may have our opinions about the current pandemic, administration or people, but we are all one country and we must stand together so we don't lose more people.  When you go outside and see someone without a mask or gloves on, say a prayer for them.  If the spirit moves you, give them a mask or a pair of gloves.  If you are a corporation in a city or state that needs masks or gear, donate it to your nearest hospital.  If you are one of those billionaires discuss in "Are politics being ran by fame, notoriety and wealth", donate money for masks and gear somewhere are the token you donated to the presidential election.

We, as a country, together, will make it out of this.  Time is everything.  Faith works and we will survive.  Listen to your local government and heed their laws.  My prayers are with everyone and I am following the restrictions as well.

                                                         Peace & Love

Social Media and Our Own Values

The television, computer, cell phone and advertising media has changed the belief system for some Americans.  There are schools across the world teaching computer technology (with social media examples) over religion, cultural differences and unity among all.  Additionally, people are more exposed to the harshness of reality and mimicking what they see.  How do people see more violence, hatred, body shaming, drug abuse/overdoses, money glorification and sexual immorality?  Mostly through the media!      The stories about Serena Williams and Les Moonves (CBS former CEO and Executive) have taken  over the social media scene this past weekend.  They have crossed all different topics such as race relations, sports, history, women's rights, violence, sexuality, embarrassment, LOVE, RESPECT, honesty, fear, acknowledgment, trust, lies, misconduct, power abuse, working class, sexual aggression, family, mother/daug...

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?                                                 The world today is different compared to just a year ago.   Everyone seems to be touchy and sensitive about everything.   Some people are marching just to be marching with their friends, not knowing the true cause. If a celebrity is doing it, he/she is more likely, going to have a following.   The fame, notoriety and wealth status has led to the election of our most recent president.   Realistically, hos moral character was not a factor relating to his election!   The more fame he gained from his political fight came from the misconception about his many business ventures.   Highlighting the word misconception because majority of pe...

Our Youth's Education is at Risk!

There was a woman (race not important for this) on television the other day.  She was being interviewed by a female reporter.  Forgive me, I can't recall the station nor the show because the content grabbed my attention instantly!  The middle-aged woman was crying to the reporter.  The woman told the reporter she did not want to tell her students to go to college.  Yes, the middle aged woman was a teacher!  She continued by saying she couldn't bare to see the faces of her students when they found out she lied about their futures.  The teacher stated if she told them going to college would lead to a successful career and a great life, she would be lying.  When in reality, she further spoke, a person graduates from college with tremendous debt, working a underpaying job, and struggling to balance family time vs. work to pay bills time.         I had to sit back and...
