To The Real 2021 President

The election is over!  Well, according to most people in the United States, it's over.  There is a battle within the government with who actually won the election.  Was the winner Joe or Donald?  Most media outlets, newspapers, bloggers, radio stations and people have declared Joe Biden as our next president of the United States.  The fight will continue well into 2021.

Yet, the social issues, environmental concerns, COVID-19, economic restructuring and increasing crime rates still remain prevalent.  There is no topic or concern that outweighs the other.  They each are significant and apart of how we live day to day.  And with all those concerns, people still showed up to exercise their right to vote!  People of the United States (all races, genders, religions, economic status and values systems) expressed their opinions through voting.  Each person with their ballot spoke for itself.  Each county and state spoke for itself as well.  The election is over.  Ballots have stopped coming in.  Again, the American people have spoken.  The idea of going to higher courts justifies those who disagree with our voting process.  Ideally, going to a higher court for alleged election fraud has not happened before in history.  The challenge will be met with a win or a loss.  A president will still be in place and chosen by the people of America.  Then, the same issues are on his desk the first day of duty.

Mr. President 2021 needs to handle the state of our economy (stimulus money and small business grants), the state of our environment (wildfires, hurricanes, global warming), the COVID-19 pandemic (vaccines, P.P.C., hospital bed totals, research, mask regulations), social injustices (police brutality, NAACP, Black Lives Matter, increased crime rates, police training, mental health awareness and treatment) and restructuring of our education (online classes, virtual learning, school closing, social distancing, need for more teachers, better pay).  So, yes, our election is over, but the real work has just began.  Let's continue to fight for what's really important and not get off track by smoke and whistles.

                                                               Peace & Love

Social Media and Our Own Values

The television, computer, cell phone and advertising media has changed the belief system for some Americans.  There are schools across the world teaching computer technology (with social media examples) over religion, cultural differences and unity among all.  Additionally, people are more exposed to the harshness of reality and mimicking what they see.  How do people see more violence, hatred, body shaming, drug abuse/overdoses, money glorification and sexual immorality?  Mostly through the media!      The stories about Serena Williams and Les Moonves (CBS former CEO and Executive) have taken  over the social media scene this past weekend.  They have crossed all different topics such as race relations, sports, history, women's rights, violence, sexuality, embarrassment, LOVE, RESPECT, honesty, fear, acknowledgment, trust, lies, misconduct, power abuse, working class, sexual aggression, family, mother/daug...

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?                                                 The world today is different compared to just a year ago.   Everyone seems to be touchy and sensitive about everything.   Some people are marching just to be marching with their friends, not knowing the true cause. If a celebrity is doing it, he/she is more likely, going to have a following.   The fame, notoriety and wealth status has led to the election of our most recent president.   Realistically, hos moral character was not a factor relating to his election!   The more fame he gained from his political fight came from the misconception about his many business ventures.   Highlighting the word misconception because majority of pe...

Our Youth's Education is at Risk!

There was a woman (race not important for this) on television the other day.  She was being interviewed by a female reporter.  Forgive me, I can't recall the station nor the show because the content grabbed my attention instantly!  The middle-aged woman was crying to the reporter.  The woman told the reporter she did not want to tell her students to go to college.  Yes, the middle aged woman was a teacher!  She continued by saying she couldn't bare to see the faces of her students when they found out she lied about their futures.  The teacher stated if she told them going to college would lead to a successful career and a great life, she would be lying.  When in reality, she further spoke, a person graduates from college with tremendous debt, working a underpaying job, and struggling to balance family time vs. work to pay bills time.         I had to sit back and...
