Famous Vs. Not Famous People: How Variants are Playing a Role

The world we used to know has changed.  People around us have become uncertain about health, activities and moral choices since the pandemic began over a year ago.  There is a rollercoaster of emotions surrounding an array of opinions.  No single person knows why this is happening, how to fix it nor when it will stop.  The rate of people being diagnosed with Covid and/or dying from it has fluctuated tremendously within the last three months.  Scientific studies have consistently shown that most of the people recently diagnosed have not been vaccinated.  These studies speak or should speak volumes to the nation.  Everyone is being affected somehow and we should take heed to this.

This pandemic has no, one specific target.  A person can be of any race, religion, sex, gender, ethnicity, age, social class, profession, education and contract any one type of the present variants.  Some celebrities, famous people and entertainers are taking a stand to get vaccinated and wear face masks as a safety precaution.  While others are continuously holding gatherings without masks, openly representing the unvaccinated and spreading untruths about the pandemic.  They all have followers who hang on their every word and action.  Many children, teens and adults listen to the advice of celebrities, entertainers and other famous people about this pandemic and many other life choices.

Adults with or without children need to make an education decision, based on scientific research and medical advice, about how to proceed with action during this pandemic.  Vaccinations, face masks, gloves, less face-to-face contact, hand sanitizer, small gatherings all play a role in the future.  Despite our previous actions with the variants, we need to do more!  Our uncertainties as a nation have to change and the first change must come as a result of unity.  A united from on the desired outcome of our nation.  Also, a legitimate placed that has been researched and approved from information about each variant, each vaccine (including present and proposed side effects) and socialization.  We can bet this if we all fight it together!

Social Media and Our Own Values

The television, computer, cell phone and advertising media has changed the belief system for some Americans.  There are schools across the world teaching computer technology (with social media examples) over religion, cultural differences and unity among all.  Additionally, people are more exposed to the harshness of reality and mimicking what they see.  How do people see more violence, hatred, body shaming, drug abuse/overdoses, money glorification and sexual immorality?  Mostly through the media!      The stories about Serena Williams and Les Moonves (CBS former CEO and Executive) have taken  over the social media scene this past weekend.  They have crossed all different topics such as race relations, sports, history, women's rights, violence, sexuality, embarrassment, LOVE, RESPECT, honesty, fear, acknowledgment, trust, lies, misconduct, power abuse, working class, sexual aggression, family, mother/daug...

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?

Are politics being run by fame, notoriety and wealth?                                                 The world today is different compared to just a year ago.   Everyone seems to be touchy and sensitive about everything.   Some people are marching just to be marching with their friends, not knowing the true cause. If a celebrity is doing it, he/she is more likely, going to have a following.   The fame, notoriety and wealth status has led to the election of our most recent president.   Realistically, hos moral character was not a factor relating to his election!   The more fame he gained from his political fight came from the misconception about his many business ventures.   Highlighting the word misconception because majority of pe...

Our Youth's Education is at Risk!

There was a woman (race not important for this) on television the other day.  She was being interviewed by a female reporter.  Forgive me, I can't recall the station nor the show because the content grabbed my attention instantly!  The middle-aged woman was crying to the reporter.  The woman told the reporter she did not want to tell her students to go to college.  Yes, the middle aged woman was a teacher!  She continued by saying she couldn't bare to see the faces of her students when they found out she lied about their futures.  The teacher stated if she told them going to college would lead to a successful career and a great life, she would be lying.  When in reality, she further spoke, a person graduates from college with tremendous debt, working a underpaying job, and struggling to balance family time vs. work to pay bills time.         I had to sit back and...
