The Political Aspect of Violence

There must be something that can be done about all the violence in our world.  Musicians, actors/actresses, socialites and many more are affected by this tragedy.  Majority of the places people travel to, want to travel to or are currently traveling have experienced some type of crime.  Violence is happening too often and too close to home.  Shootings, robberies, arguments, fights and so much more have taken over the beauty of togetherness and turned it into something bloody.  The solid foundation of families has been turned into shambles by poor examples of tradition.  There is not a day without a violent crime being broadcast across our media networks.  The platform for control of tactics to stop the violence bounces between money and politics, sometimes both.

The world needs peace.  The only way to get peace is to start at home.  Your values should make up who you are and lead you throughout your daily choices.  Your daily choices are not to be made based on the lifestyle of someone else.  You are you and can only be you!  You were not made to be someone else.  The media, socialites, millionaires, billionaires, famous people all have a sense of self.  The part of self that is public with their lives.  They live in this world the same as other people, just publicly and with more resources.  We do not go into their personal, daily, at home lives.  We have our own and it's for a specific reason.  The reason is tailor made for each individual person and their life.  Politics are involved with catching criminals, prosecuting criminals and housing criminals.  The challenge is to get to a point where no one has to involve the authorities, and everyone lives at peace with one another.  This is why laws are created for people, not people created for the laws.  We all need to abide by the laws regardless of bias feelings.  The laws were created and changed only by votes of the people.

Thinking you fall short, is only in your own mind.  Comparison will not get you to your own destiny.  Famous people compared to the non-famous person in the real situation is different from television and social media post edit shows or clips.  Stop comparing and start thinking about what truly value for yourself and your life.  Everything happens for a reason and in its own season (as the old saying goes).  The media is to entertain not control.  We have our own free will to choose what paths we take, but there always challenges to choosing.  This is part of the process and allows you the ability to think things through thoroughly.

Our Youth's Education is at Risk!

There was a woman (race not important for this) on television the other day.  She was being interviewed by a female reporter.  Forgive me, I can't recall the station nor the show because the content grabbed my attention instantly!  The middle-aged woman was crying to the reporter.  The woman told the reporter she did not want to tell her students to go to college.  Yes, the middle aged woman was a teacher!  She continued by saying she couldn't bare to see the faces of her students when they found out she lied about their futures.  The teacher stated if she told them going to college would lead to a successful career and a great life, she would be lying.  When in reality, she further spoke, a person graduates from college with tremendous debt, working a underpaying job, and struggling to balance family time vs. work to pay bills time.         I had to sit back and...

Social Media and Our Own Values

The television, computer, cell phone and advertising media has changed the belief system for some Americans.  There are schools across the world teaching computer technology (with social media examples) over religion, cultural differences and unity among all.  Additionally, people are more exposed to the harshness of reality and mimicking what they see.  How do people see more violence, hatred, body shaming, drug abuse/overdoses, money glorification and sexual immorality?  Mostly through the media!      The stories about Serena Williams and Les Moonves (CBS former CEO and Executive) have taken  over the social media scene this past weekend.  They have crossed all different topics such as race relations, sports, history, women's rights, violence, sexuality, embarrassment, LOVE, RESPECT, honesty, fear, acknowledgment, trust, lies, misconduct, power abuse, working class, sexual aggression, family, mother/daug...

Deteriorating City

Deteriorating City                         The silent manipulation unfolding among our creation Violence rising, adultery exposed, children shot as they sleep, teens die waiting for a ride to be educated, elderly beaten while just trying to enjoy independence. We watch as surrounding buildings crumble, monuments are distorted with graffiti; gangbangers rob the poor and needy. Shameful actions covered by joyful expressions of so-called power. Mimicking what has been seen, displayed, shown, mocked by small snippets of television faction or media competition for action. Information to some, ignored by none.                Lives taken for granted by no one age group                specifically.         ...
